A highly accomplished dancer and dance teacher, Katy has a passion for dancing that, just like her incredible energy, knows no bounds… and her dream is to inspire people all over the world to get up and dance!
Katy has been teaching dance for more than two decades. She has, over the years, trained and danced with many of the industry’s most successful choreographers, and iconic figures in Latin, Afro-Caribbean and International dance around the globe.
The ‘lightbulb moment’ that led her to create SOSA was a realisation that there was no group class where you could learn authentic dance steps, along with the correct technique and body styling – AND enjoy a great authentic dance workout to shape and tone your whole body!
And so her excitement and commitment grew, to create one fabulous dance fitness class – specifically structured and choreographed to be suitable, safe and effective for all shapes, all sizes, all abilities, all faiths and all cultures. Then, in February 2015, SOSA Dance Fitness was born!
